About

Jochen Magyar is a Belgian designer and interior architect whose work moves between furniture, architecture and sculpture. Each object is born from an essential need, shaped with precision, emotion and balance. We work for people who seek beauty and tranquility in their world. For who time, comfort, and quality are more important than trends. Whether it's a home, a practice, or a retreat, each project is designed with the same attention: slow, honest, and with unparalleled attention to detail. A space isn't created from shapes, but from use. We start from rhythm, movement, and interaction. Only when the lines are correct and the sight lines are correct can the material speak for itself. Details aren't added, they're made visible. This creates interiors that seem self-evident, yet surprise with their tranquility, simplicity, and refinement. We design sculptural furniture, objects, and interiors made to last.  Each design stems from a sense of timelessness, luxury, and comfort, using natural materials that age with grace and character. Our creations exude stillness, tactility, and balance, nothing fleeting, nothing that fades. The Easy Chair marks the beginning of that vision in object form: handmade in Belgium, constructed from natural materials, where craftsmanship and comfort meet in one pure movement. Every collaboration is tailor-made, with discretion and trust. We work selectively and intensively, only for those who feel the same commitment to authenticity, harmony and lasting beauty.
