The Easy Chair was shaped over many years through an ongoing exploration of proportion, material and form. Countless sketches gradually evolved into a language of calm, balanced volumes, where every line and every detail found its place with intention.

For a long time, I believed that a new design had to introduce not only a new form, but also a new function. That pursuit became both a motivation and a limitation. It was only when I let go of that expectation that I returned to years of forgotten sketches, discovering that the work I had been searching for had already existed in fragments, patiently waiting to be brought together.

The Easy Chair emerged almost naturally from that process.

Its generous cylindrical volumes create a composition that feels both grounded and timeless. Softness is balanced by architectural clarity, while the sculptural side elements subtly extend the chair's presence beyond seating alone. They may serve as functional surfaces, or simply exist as quiet sculptural forms within a space.

Throughout the development, I found inspiration in the world of haute couture, where precision and softness coexist. The folds of the leather appear effortless, yet each one is individually shaped by hand with care and intention, giving every chair its own subtle character.

The Easy Chair became what I had been searching for all along: an honest and timeless object. Crafted from natural materials and defined by patience, precision and enduring craftsmanship, it is made to live with its owner for generations.
